Established in 1992, KanWay Industrial has long been a pioneer in Taiwan’s mold surface treatment industry. We specialize in high-demand HPDC and hot forging molds, developing our exclusive, internationally-patented KW-NT (Nitriding) and KW-HT (Heat Treatment) technologies through joint R&D with National Taiwan University.
Our superior quality earned the trust of major Japanese-affiliated manufacturers in Taiwan, capturing a 90% market share for exported molds. At our clients’ request, we began our successful overseas technology transfer program in 2005, which has now operated in China and India for over 20 years. Low-Pressure Molds
This is the classic application for our KWO (Nitriding + Oxidation) treatment. Low-pressure molds, especially for aluminum wheels, suffer from severe chemical erosion (corrosion) from prolonged contact with molten aluminum. KWO was specifically engineered to create a stable, highly resistant surface layer. This process is proven to stop this chemical attack, dramatically extending mold life well beyond 50,000 cycles.

Our KW-NT process overcomes the biggest challenge in treating stainless steel. We can directly nitride SUS304, 420, and other grades without the need for harsh strong acid cleaning. This unique capability delivers exceptional surface hardness (Hv1000–1300) while simplifying your workflow. This technology is also perfectly suited for enhancing the wear resistance of plastic molds and stamping dies.
