KANWAY showcases the core technologies and theories for extending die life.
Pioneering Surface Nitriding Since 1992
Legacy of Excellence
Kanway Industrial was established in 1992. During its initial 10 years, it was the only company in Taiwan focusing on surface nitriding treatments 【KW-NT series KW and KWO gaseous nitriding surface diffusion treatments】 as its primary business. In the early stages, the company was dedicated to improving the service life of aluminum alloy high-pressure die-casting molds and hot forging molds, which have particularly stringent mold life requirements. After 10 years of effort, 90% of the nitriding treatments adopted for high-pressure die-casting molds by Japanese enterprises exported from Taiwan were from the KW series. Subsequently, the company entered the field of improving the service life of metal components and further expanded into a stage of joint research and development with National Taiwan University.

Advancing Mold Life with NADCA Standards
Precision in Every Detail
Kanway Industrial combined theoretical and applied technology to develop a heat treatment quenching technique using water mist cooling. This technology ensures that the heat treatment quality of high-pressure die-casting molds and hot forging molds meets NADCA oil quenching standards, effectively improving the service life of the molds.
Two Decades of International Technology Transfer
Global Reach, Local Impact
As global supply chain manufacturing technologies began to internationalize and move across borders, high-end practical technologies held by various enterprises started transferring to countries with stronger production capabilities and larger markets. In 2005, following the requirements of Japanese clients, Kanway Industrial also began implementing overseas technology transfers of its nitriding and heat treatment technologies. Currently, these operations have been active in China and India for over 20 years.
